Software Requirements:

Windows XP through Windows 10

Installation Process:

1. If you have an older version of the Microsoft Cameroon keyboard, it should be uninstalled using the Control Panel. Search for “Cameroon Unicode” in the list, or something similar.
2. Choose and download the desired keyboard below  based on your computer’s physical keyboard (QWERTY or AZERTY).
3. Find the .zip file you just downloaded.
   (This process will depend on which browser you use.)
4. Right-click the compressed file (.zip) and choose “Extract All”.
5. Windows will create a new folder with the same name next to the zip.
6. Open the new folder and double click “setup”.
   1. Click OK on the first window.
      (A security warning box may appear minimised, click the flashing button on the taskbar and give permission to install.)
   2. Click “Next/Finish” until the end.
7. It is now installed.  (Windows XP, Windows 8, or Windows 10 might ask to reboot before it works properly).

Cameroon QWERTY Unified Keyboard (Updated 2017):

 

• To change the keyboard, use Left Alt + Left Shift or choose a language next to the clock. Follow the PDF included for each keyboard.
• To use the Cameroon QWERTY keyboard, verify that “AF” is selected next to the clock. Use the “;” as always, to access special characters.

Cameroon AZERTY Unified Keyboard (Updated 2021):

Processus d’installation :

1. Si vous avez une ancienne version du clavier Microsoft Cameroon déjà installé, il doit être désinstallé à l’aide du panneau de configuration. Recherchez « Cameroun Unicode » dans la liste, ou quelque chose de similaire.
2. Choisissez et téléchargez le clavier désiré ci-dessous basé sur le clavier physique de votre ordinateur (QWERTY ou AZERTY).
3. Recherchez le fichier .zip que vous venez de télécharger.
   (Ce processus dépendra du navigateur que vous utilisez.)
4. Cliquez droit sur le fichier compressé (.zip) et choisissez « Extraire tout ».
5. Windows crée un nouveau dossier portant le même nom à côté du fichier .ZIP.
6. Ouvrez le nouveau dossier et double-cliquez sur « setup ».
7. Cliquez sur OK dans la première fenêtre. (Une boîte d’avertissement de sécurité peut apparaître réduite, cliquez sur le bouton clignotant dans la barre des tâches et donnez la permission d’installer.)
8. Cliquez sur “suivant / finition” jusqu’à la fin.
9. Le clavier est maintenant installé. (Windows XP, Windows 8 ou 10 Windows peuvent vous demandez de redémarrer pour que cela fonctionne correctement.)

Cameroun QWERTY clavier unifié (mise à jour 2017) :

 

• Pour sélectionner un clavier, appuyez sur ALT gauche et tapez MAJ gauche ou choisissez une langue à côté de l’horloge.
• Pour utiliser le clavier QWERTY Cameroun, vérifiez que « AF » est sélectionné à côté de l’horloge. Suivez le PDF inclus avec chaque clavier. Utilisez le «; » comme toujours, pour accéder aux caractères spéciaux.
